Park on of Palm Hills/Broadmoor which runs on the side of Thrifty Wash (4781 E Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA 92264) at the Vons Rim Rock Plaza in Palm Springs 

Park your cars either on the payment or dirt road (Ramp) just before 8 am

Super Bowl! I want to get you back in time for the Super Bowl, but I also want you to get some exercise but all the afternoon snacks you will consume  

Moderate Hike similar to our morning sunrise hike plus and extra 3 miles  

​DESCRIPTION:
Many of the goat trails are wandering trails that were originally horseback riding trails for the Desert Riders.  There is a small oasis  called Jane’s Hoffbrau Oasis that we will visit. 

What is the trail like:
 

We will climb onto the Santa Rosa Mountains starting near the Rim Rock Shopping Center. From there we will loop on a series of trails just below Murray Peak. We will conclude our loop by heading down Eagle Wash to a small palm oasis. We will climb out of the wash to reconnect to our original trail and make our way back to the cars. 

THE BASIC DESCRIPTION 
The hike is just under 6 miles 
1300ft elevation gain and drop.  
LOTS OF UPS AND DOWNS 

BRING 
snacks 
water 
a great attitude 
hiking poles if you wish 

Dog Friendly on the Goat Trails

You can bring your dogs 
But ensure they are leashed 
That they are dog and people friendly 
You clean up after your dogs and dispose properly their waste.
