Morongo is just beautiful after a rain!
The extended forecast shows that temps will be in the 70s at 9 am.
This hike only takes about 1 hour.
BIG MORONGO CANYON HIKE
There will be some up and down elevation gains, but nothing morning then we experience on our morning hikes.
THE ADVENTURE:
We have spotted deer in this area.
Beyond deer I have seen coyotes, fox, and bobcats. The hiking areas are easy walks, but you do have to keep an eye for low branches.\
Drive Time:
The drive to Big Morongo Preserve take about 25 minutes from Palm Springs.

DEPARTURE TIME FOR HIKE IS 8 AM
PLEASE ARRIVE BEFORE 8 AM SO YOU CAN START WITH US ON THE HIKE. If you arrive late you be on your own.
MEETING LOCATION:
We are not meeting at the Preserve. Please meet at Covington Park Community Center

DIRECTIONS:
1. Take 62 hwy from 10 freeway
2. Enter Morongo Valley
3. Turn Right on East Drive
A. Willie Boys Saloon will be on the left of East Of East
Drive. You turn right opposite side of Willie Boys
Saloon
4. Drive on East Drive. Pass Big Morongo Preserve. The Community park is around the bend and on the left.
