A unique social distancing camping trip
Temps projected 81 mid day and 58 at night. Light winds so far. Near Blythe, Ca 2 hour drive from Cathedral City
Saturday, April 11 AFTERNOON (TIME TO BE SET ONCE I HAVE THE MORNING HIKE IN PLACE) I am leaving for the Bradshaw Trail. I figure we will be setup camp at sunset.
All camper with high clearance vehicles (4 wheel is not needed)...low clearance vehicles you are taking a chance driving on a dirt road that in places has soft sand. I would strongly not recommend you taking low clearance vehicles. We will drive 5 miles on one section of dirt roads and then another 5 to 10 miles on another section of dirt roads. The roads are grated but there is soft sand in one section of the last section of road to get to the agate beds.
TENT OR CAR CAMPING
One night of camping tent or car camping. Campfire though you need to bring a bundle of firewood We will probably do two campfire setting to spread us out farther part. So if you go pick up wood at StaterBros or Home Depot or such. Plenty of flat areas out on the Bradshaw to do social distancing camping.
NO RESTROOM AREA. RUN TO THE BUSHES
AGATES AND COOL ROCKS HUNTING
Sunday April 12 we will look for agates. After the early early in the week the agates should be an easy fine.
