Coffee Bean Canyon (8 miles but Easy)
Coffee Bean is not a hard hike though there are miles and full sun exposure.
I am hoping the Desert Lilies will be blooming.
This is the best way to see Mecca Hills without driving on Dirt Roads. No dirt roads.
7.5 miles
There is a 600 ft elevation gain but this climb is over 4 miles which means that you really don't notice the climb....very gradual.
What is Coffee Bean Canyon?
A twisting canyon with interesting coffee-colored walls. In addition you explore your choice of small canyons with narrows and intricate erosional forms.

MEETING LOCATON:
Del Taco across from Love's Gas Station in Coachella.
From Palm Springs/Palm Desert enter the 10 freeway heading east. Exit Dillon Road (last exit in the Coachella Valley). You must go under the 10 freeway and the Del Taco is immediately after the 10 Freeway on the left across from Love's Gas Station.
