East Indio Hills Badlands
You can bring your dogs providing you
1. Clean up after them
2. They are dog and people friendly
The Indio Badlands Loop is fairly easy. 3.5 miles and about 350ft elevation gain and drop. You need to mind your step in the small slot canyon and there is some soft sand in the wash. Beyond that it is easy.
The parking lot at for the trail is small, but now they allow parking on Golf Center PkWy just before the Avenue 42.
Please ARRIVE before 9 am or you will miss us.
Dogs you can bring them but you may need to help them in a few spots in the short slot canyon. Also probably best to keep them leashed for this area usually has lots of dog owners...Never know how another dog my act around your lovable pouch!
