Here is our first wildflower hike. It is more like a walk.

This hike replace our hike Briska Palms
IMPORTANT MESSAGE
We can handle a large group for this one. So it is open to all, but future wildflower hikes will be mostly for members only. This is due group size limits. Existing members, I will or have already contacted you when memberships are due. Existing members that membership are due in January have all been contacted. Those who are guests while they decide to join will unfortunately not be invited to size limited flower hikes. This one you are welcome to join us.
NOTICE
We will be traveling on a graded dirt road for about 3 miles each way from the 10 freeway. The road can handle all types of cars.
THE HIKES
These are short walks. Our drive from the Del Taco Coachella to our hiking location will take us about 25 minutes each way.
The walks are short and the flowers are just starting.
There are no trails and land is uneven in the wash and foot hills.
Very slight elevation gains and drops.
FOOTBALL
I should have you back to your meeting location around noon on Saturday. If you drive on your own, you can depart at any time to catch the football game.
CARPOOLING ETIQUETTE
If you passenger, please have about $10 per person in cash for your driver. Keep in mind your driver's gas and wear and tear on a vehicle. Your driver can refuse your money, but at least you kindly offered.
Passengers, you are also at the will of the driver's time. Passengers if you have to rush home then I would suggest to either find a driver who is heading back early or drive your own vehicle.
