Hi Group, This is so very cool.
You will either have to meet at the State Park and pay for your own entrance or join me on the Mud Pots adventure early that day. We need to be at the visitor center by 5:30 p.m. Directions: http://www.parks.ca.gov/Lat_Long_Map/?page_id=639 Yearly members fee who have paid $125 for entire year are offered this trip for $20 Non yearly members who pay as they go-this trip is $35.
If you are combining Mud Pots and this trip: Yearly members fee who have paid $125 for entire year are offered this trip for $25.
Non members yearly members who pay as they go-this trip is $40
Bring a lunch and dinner if you are combining both the Mud Pots and Kayaking trip. Important that you email me if you are going on this trip.
.Only email me if you are 100% certain you are going. I will need to lock the trip 3 days before the day of the kayaking. This is a first paid first lock in trip. So the first 20 pay people are going.
Know that if it is windy or raining the trip is canceled. If that happens and you give me a check then it will be returned to you and if you give me cash then that will be returned. If you cancel and it is not due to weather, your portion of money will be kept unless I can find another person to take your place. If it is cold we then we deal with the cold. If it is hot we deal with the heat. A portion of the proceeds go to the Salton Sea Authority and entrance fee. I can take 20 people. 3 of the boats hold 2 people each and the rest hold one. You will get wet. No the water won't make you sick and your skin will not fall off. The water is warm. We will be arriving back home late. I figure we will be on the water just before sunset and return after the moon has risen. We will have a guide that evening from the Salton Sea Authority. The trip on the water will last 2 to 3 hours. I took 25 people in a few months ago and everyone loved it. I will have the exact times for you very soon. Bring wine and snacks and we will enjoy these treats after our kayaking trip. Boat 12 people Boat 22 people Boat 32 people Remaining boats are 1 person. Here is a great link about kayaking on the sea. http://www.cvindependent.com/index.php/en-US/opinion/community-voices/item/282-save-this-lake-a-kayaking-trip-on-the-salton-sea-opened-my-mind
