HIKING DESCRIPTION:
2 miles and 30ft elevation gain.
Willis Palm Oasis is one of many Oases along the San Andreas Fault.
During our hike we will learn about the San Andrea Fault -It length, which way the plates are moving, and how old the fault is.
We will also learn about the ancient ocean and look at fossils. NO COLLECTING OF ANCIENT MARINE FOSSILS.
Locals and Visitors are welcome to join us :)

HIKE LEVEL:
Easy Hike- For hikers that can hike trails with some small elevation gain and hike on a trail that has rocks and in area soft sand on trail.
Moderate- Those who prefer no elevation gain and rock free path with find this trail to be moderate.
The general feeling about this trail is that it is one of more easy trail in the Coachella Valley.
