Magnesia Falls to Cathedral City Cove Dunn Rd Trailhead
What you should know:
* 7.5 miles
* 1800ft gain and drop
* rock scrambling areas on the trail
* Not easy to turn around and head back if you get tired.
*Area is only open 3 months out of the year.
* 3 to 4 hours of hikes with some rest areas.
*Car Transporting Required since is a Point A to Point B hike. We are not heading back to our start point, and this is not a loop trail.

Why do this hike?
Well, it is beautiful. The canyon is full of palm trees. It is truly rugged and wild. The view are awesome and the canyon is only open 3 months out of the year.

Plan on
3 to 4 hours of hiking. This hike does require shuttle.
PARKING IN TWO LOCATIONS
Multiple cars needed. Please be willing to drive the short 5 mile distance either at the start or end of the hike.

WATER (LOTS OF WATER) 3 liters suggested

LUNCH
MEETING LOCATION:
at the top of Cathedral City Cove
Park on Channel Dr at the top...Do not park on Foothill Dr. We want to be respectful the residents in the neighborhood
