SATURDAY AT 8 AM – 10:30 AM
Oswit Canyon to Waterfall with Jamie Lynn

Hi Group,
I have a group of our D2BT Hiking Group on Catalina Island.
Jamie Lynn asked if she could lead a hike into Oswit Canyon this Saturday. Thanks Jamie Lynn!
Join her on any portion of this hike. If you feel that rock scrambling closer to the waterfall is uncomfortable then turn around and head back to the your vehicle. It fairly easy to get back to your car if you need to turn around.
DESCRIPTION:
Oswit To Waterfall (Saturday April 1 )
900FT just over 4 miles round trip
Oswit is a beautiful canyon that needs community protection.
This is not an easy hike. There is a few locations that require a quick scramble up and around rocks.
Shoes with a good tread are important working around the smooth granite rocks.
The treat at the end of the canyon is a small waterfall with angel ferns.
There should be some wildflowers blooming in the canyon as well.

MEETING LOCATION
Jamie Lynn will meet at the South Lykken Trailhead on South Palm Canyon just south of Murray Canyon Road and north of Bogert Trail.
