THE TRAIL
Pacific Crest Trail/Snow Creek is area of open desert set against the massive shear face of Mount San Jacinto. The trail is in good shape and the views are outstanding.
So many people hike the Lykken Trail, but few hike the Pacific Crest Trail in Snow Creek. It is easy to say that if you have hiked the Lykken Trail in Palm Springs you could hike this portion of the Snow Creek for a distance. We are not scaling the mountain, but we will do a portion of the trail that will takes us 650ft in elevation gain and we will in round trip cover 3 miles.
