The Maze in La Quinta Cove
The hike is 3.5 miles
400 ft elevation gain and drop.
Arrive before 5:30 pm and we finish close to 7 pm
Find your favorite restaurant in La Quinta and makes reservations for 7:30 pm dining experience. But first do this fun hike in La Quinta Cove with us.
The Maze in La Quinta Cove is a fun loop trail that is kind of like our Sunrise Hike in Rancho Mirage. There will be some great views and the moon will be out before we depart off the trail.
There are several parking areas, so you need to go to our parking lot that is directly off CALLE BERMUDAS and just before CALLE TECATE.
If there are gate hours, then just park on the street before the entrance to the dirt parking lot.
Arrive before 5:30pm or you will miss us.
The trail is dog friendly to a point and then the last section is not dogs friendly. For those with small dogs, you can just pick them up on the short route to the overlook.
Big horn sheep frequent the one section that is not dog friendly. All dogs, in areas ok for dogs, must be on leash on La Quinta Trails.
Not organizing a diner because it is a Thursday night, and it is usually busy, but plan a great night in La Quinta Old...Have some fun after the hike.
